Los Boliches:
One of the most popular areas among international buyers. It has a local Spanish feel, excellent restaurants, and easy beach access. Many Scandinavian and British buyers choose this area.
Fuengirola Centre & Marina:
This is the most active part of the city. Ideal if you want everything at your doorstep. It works well for short-term rentals, but it can be busy in summer.
Torreblanca & Carvajal:
These areas sit slightly higher or towards the edge of town. You often get better views and newer developments. However, a car can be helpful depending on the exact location.
From my experience, many buyers initially focus only on price. But after a few viewings, they start prioritising location convenience over small price differences.
